Parental Involvement

At Good Shepherd, we consider parents valuable members of our school community and we seek to work in partnership with parents to achieve the best possible outcomes for all our students. Parents are able to participate in the life of the school through the Parents and Friends association, as well as through formal and informal parent groups, working bees and social activities.

Parents are also encouraged to take part in the spiritual life of our school and are invited to attend liturgical celebrations.

Please note that all volunteer workers in schools are required to undergo child protection training. Visit the Parramatta Catholic Education Office website 'Building Child Safe Communities' for more information.

The Parents and Friends Association meet regularly each term, to discuss ways in which the group can help the school community such as through fundraising, working bees etc.
